Christmas, the Godlover's way
Many of us know the story inside out; where, when and how He was born. If you've ever been to Sunday school or known someone who did, you do know the relationship between Jesus and Christmas.
Someone may ask, why do we have to celebrate the fact that somebody was born? Well, this was no ordinary person, He was the expression of God's love to us (For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son...JOHN 3:16). He was the identity of God's love, He was the one that brought true light to the world. He still is.
This is not just a story, Jesus came to give us life, set us free and teach us love. It's more than the beautiful red velvet; look beyond the pretty Christmas tree alright? It's not about seasonal materialism and looking to see who gets the biggest gift. No gift can be bigger than the Christmas wonder.
The most wondrous thing about the Christmas wonder is that God, who lived among us can now dwell within us. May His loving presence cause you overflowing joy this Christmas and many more to come. Amen.
Merry Christmas
